Magic of Tar Salt Soap

Authentic and pure, Metsä/Skogen's products are handcrafted in Finland in co-operation with a small Finnish producer. All products are prepared from the finest raw materials found in the Finnish forest and designed with love for people and the environment.

Salt soaps, suitable for all skin types, are formulated with Himalayan rose salt and conditioning oils such as coconut oil, olive oil, and castor oil. Genuine Finnish grave tar, made exclusively from pine trunks, has been added to the salt soap. For centuries tar has been used in skin care to treat a variety of skin conditions.

 Only authentic essential oils are used as fragrances. With Metsä/Skogen salt soap, the entire body is cleansed and gently exfoliated. The product is also suitable for removing make-up. Due to its hardness, salt soaps last for a long time in use.
